EDUCATION | Brain Injury
Education serves to undergird the work of BIAK’s public policy and prevention efforts. We also plan and conduct events that enhance the ability of professionals stay on top of advancements in the field of brain injury. We also help survivors, families and caregivers better understand how to live with the effects of brain injury and how to advocate for the care that they need.
BIAK Brain Injury Summit
This event is held each year on the first Friday of March and provides professionals in the field of brain injury with the necessary Continuing Education Units they need each year. This event is also open to survivors, family members/caregivers and students who want to learn about the treatment of brain injury. Proceeds from this event go to support the work of BIAK.
